Free Guide: Better Prompting

Artificial intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT can be a great help in everyday work – from the quick creation of text modules to support with research and ideas for customer communication. However, in order for the answers to be really useful and precise, it is crucial to formulate the inputs correctly. This process is called prompting.

How to use ChatGPT and Co. correctly

Artificial intelligence can only work as well as the instructions it receives – and this is exactly where prompt engineering comes in. It describes the ability to formulate clear, structured, and contextual inputs so that systems like ChatGPT deliver relevant results that can be used in everyday work. Precise prompts with specific tasks, target group details and desired goals significantly increase the quality of the answers. At the same time, thoughtless prompting carries risks: inaccurate input can lead to incorrect content, and the disclosure of sensitive data can lead to data protection problems. Since AI models are also not infallible and can also generate false facts (“hallucinations”), a conscious and responsible approach is essential.
