Attackers could exploit this by executing code on the device and, in the worst case, taking full control of the computer. It is recommended to update the browser promptly via the Chrome menu. The vulnerability in Chrome affects the Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems.
The vulnerability in Adobe’s middleware ColdFusion also gives attackers the ability to execute code and bypass access privileges. An update is also urgently needed here. The vulnerability at Adobe affects all operating systems.
According to Heise Online, Google and Adobe are currently not providing any information about how exactly the attacks on Chrome and ColdFusion are carried out.
