Wat betekent HTTPS in detail?<\/h4>

Bij HTTPS wordt de data tussen je apparaat en de website versleuteld. Dit betekent dat derden de informatie niet simpelweg kunnen lezen of manipuleren.<\/p>

Websites met HTTPS kunnen worden herkend aan:<\/h4>

  • de “https:\/\/” in de adresbalk<\/p><\/li>

    <\/p>

  • een slotsymbool in de browser<\/li>

      3. Voer geen gevoelige gegevens in op onveilige pagina’s<\/li><\/ol>

        <\/strong><\/p>

        Praktisch voorbeeld uit het dagelijks werk:<\/strong><\/p>

        Een medewerker wil onderweg inloggen op een klantportaal om een bestelling te controleren. Hij klikt op een e-maillink en komt op een inlogpagina terecht.<\/p>

        \"InfographicVoordat hij zijn toegangsgegevens invoert, kijkt hij in de adresbalk:
        De website begint met “http:\/\/” en er is geen slotsymbool<\/strong> te zien.<\/p>

        Dit lijkt hem verdacht. In plaats van in te loggen, annuleert hij het proces en roept de website direct op via het offici\u00eble bedrijfsadres. Daar ziet hij “https:\/\/” en het slotsymbool in de browser \u2013 dus de verbinding is veilig.<\/p>

        Later blijkt dat de eerste link leidde naar een nepwebsite die toegangsgegevens moest verzamelen.<\/p>
